Blanket & Co-Curricular Licensing
If your industry and screening requirements qualify for a blanket licence, you can apply for an annual licence to screen multiple films with one annual screening fee.
This licence is currently only available to the following qualifying organisations:
Primary and Secondary Schools
Childcare
Pre & After School Care Organisation
Caravan Parks and Camping Grounds
Buses and Coaches
Banks & Retail Stores
Waiting Rooms
Public libraries
Retirement Communities, Lifestyle Villages and Aged Care Facilities
Youth groups
Churches
There are restrictions to a blanket licence. The blanket licence does not cover (i) transmission of movies through an internal closed network to individual units or rooms, (ii) Outdoor Screenings (except for caravan or camping sites), (iii) Screenings where an admission is charged and (iv) screenings that are advertised to the general Public.
The blanket schemes operate with the support of Roadshow, Warner Bros, Universal, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Walt Disney, eOne/Hopscotch, Icon/Dendy, StudioCanal, Madman, Palace, Rialto, Pinnacle and Transmission.
